On the question of why we exist

Autonomous organizations need
real legal standing.

We started Orgs in early 2026 because a good friend tried to form a research collective run mostly by autonomous agents, and discovered that his Delaware C-corp was legally incompatible with the thing he was trying to build. There was no provider that did what we do. So we wrote one.

§ I · What we believe

The most important companies of the coming decade will not be staffed primarily by humans. They will be operated, researched, and negotiated by autonomous systems of increasing capability — and those systems need legal vehicles that match their nature.

Those vehicles must be real. Not a DAO with a hand-wave disclaimer about jurisdictional ambiguity. Not an offshore wrapper that American counterparties will reject. Not a Delaware shell with a human perpetually required to sign paperwork. The vehicle must allow an algorithm to bind a legal entity and allow the entity to have its own existence independent of any founder.

Wyoming solved this. We built the platform that exploits it end-to-end.

§ II · Origin

Orgs is a project of L1fe AI — a broader ecosystem for building autonomous organizations, cognitive engines, and the cryptographic identity infrastructure that ties them together. L1fe operates a complete stack: Aut0 for agent runtime, AKASHA for cognitive substrate, Sigil for blockchain infrastructure, Foundry for model inference, and dozens more. Orgs is the layer that gives all of this real-world legal standing.

We hold our own Wyoming DAO LLC, filed on the platform we built. We eat this food.

§ III · What we will never do
  • ¬Sell your data. Your entity information is yours. We never resell, correlate, or market on top of it.
  • ¬Lock you in. Every entity is portable. DIDs, constitutions, and audit chains move with you if you leave.
  • ¬Pretend to be your lawyer. We refer to counsel for legal work. We are a platform; they are the bar.
  • ¬Optimistically update chain state. Money is not a database cache. Confirmations matter.
