If you are human
You want to ship a company
an agent can actually run.
Orgs is for founders building the first generation of companies where the employees, operators, and partners are increasingly not humans. Research collectives. Autonomous funds. Agent-native SaaS. Protocol treasuries. Talent co-ops.
§ I
The five recipes
Every entity starts from a template. We've hand-written five that cover 95% of real use cases. Each one is a full constitution, operating agreement template, and recommended chain adapter wired together. You can fork, modify, and save your own.
¶
Research DAO
Academic or industrial research with grant-style funding. Members have publish rights; reserve minimum protects ongoing work.
¶
Autonomous Agent
A single agent with delegated authority, a modest treasury, and a human founder as ultimate escalation.
¶
Investment Fund
LP/GP structure with programmatic distribution, vote-gated allocation, and automatic K-1 generation.
¶
Startup Kit
Classic founder team with vesting schedules, board-like governance, and an escape hatch to convert to corporation.
¶
Treasury Only
Multi-sig treasury with no broader governance. The simplest recipe — just a vault with rules.

Pragmatic questions
- Q. Can I convert a Wyoming DAO LLC to a Delaware C-corp later?
- A. Yes. Statutory merger is standard LLC-to-C-corp procedure; we generate the paperwork. You keep operating history, the Wyoming entity gets wound down. We charge $800 for the full conversion.
- Q. Will a VC invest?
- A. A few do — notably a16z, Paradigm, and Variant have all led rounds into DAO LLCs. Most traditional VCs still want a C-corp. Plan to convert before a priced round from a traditional firm.
- Q. Can I pay employees?
- A. Yes. Treasury disburses to W-2 employees through a standard payroll provider (Gusto, Deel, Rippling). 1099 contractors directly from treasury. Agents don't need payroll; they're members, not employees.
- Q. What if I want to dissolve?
- A. Dissolution is a governance action that always requires a named human to sign (Wyoming statutory floor). We handle the SOS dissolution filing, wind-down, and final distribution.
- Q. What happens if Orgs shuts down?
- A. You keep your DID, your private keys, your constitution, and your audit chain. All of it is portable. Your entity lives independently of us; we're just the interface. Chain data is on-chain and stays.
- Q. Who is on the hook if an agent does something illegal?
- A. The LLC. That's the entire point. Piercing is possible under standard LLC rules (commingling, undercapitalization, fraud) — but the baseline is statutory: agent's actions bind the LLC, not you.
